Fargo Sport Show 2026: The One Booth Midwest Anglers Shouldn’t Miss

Booth 194 – Fargo Sport Show 2026

Hi everyone — we’re excited to share that we’ll be at Booth 194 for the Red River Valley Sportsmen’s Boat, Camping & Vacation Show at the Fargodome from March 5–8, 2026.

The show is marketed as North Dakota and northern Minnesota’s biggest outdoor event, bringing together dealers, outfitters, resorts, and gear vendors under one roof.

Visitors can browse fishing boats and pontoons, hunting and fishing gear, camping equipment, RVs and travel trailers, and vacation destinations such as lodges, campgrounds, and fly-in resorts.

If you’ve never been to the Fargo Sport Show before, it truly feels like the unofficial kickoff to spring. Boats, RVs, tackle, resorts, seminars, kids’ workshops… and thousands of anglers and families planning their next adventure.

And this year, we’d love to see you at Booth 194.

Why Stop By Our Booth?

We know many of you are dreaming about open water while the snow is still flying.

When you walk into the FargoDome that weekend, you’ll see:

  • Boats lined up and ready
  • Lodges from across the Midwest and Canada
  • Fishing pros sharing tactics
  • Families planning summer vacations

But when you stop at Booth 194, here’s what you’ll get from us:

And if you’ve ever imagined holding that trophy fish for the camera… we’ll help you map out how to make it happen.

Planning a Lake of the Woods Fishing Trip?

Most Fargo Sport Show attendees come from:

  • North Dakota
  • Upper Minnesota
  • South Dakota
  • Western Canada

Many of you are already familiar with Lake of the Woods — but maybe you haven’t explored our southwest corner yet.

We’ll walk you through:

  • When to come for trophy musky
  • Why fall walleye fishing is so strong
  • What makes our cabins private and family-friendly
  • How to build the perfect 4–8 person group trip

You can almost feel it now — that first calm morning run across the bay… rods rigged… coffee steaming in the boat… and the quiet anticipation before the first strike.

That’s what we’re talking about.

When people talk about Lake of the Woods, they’re often thinking about its massive size and thousands of islands.

But here at Saarela’s Moonlite Bay, we experience a very specific, special corner of it — the southwest side.

Geography Around Moonlite Bay

The lake’s shape is anything but simple.

Bays fold into channels. Channels open into hidden coves. Islands create natural windbreaks and protected fishing water.

When you leave our dock at Moonlite Bay, you’re not heading into wide-open emptiness. You’re weaving through landmarks — points, reefs, and islands that guests return to year after year.

In fact, when you count every island shoreline, Lake of the Woods has more total shoreline than Lake Superior. That’s how much water there is to explore.

And right here in our section, you’ll find a balance of adventure and comfort — expansive enough for trophy fishing, sheltered enough for relaxed family boating.

Wildlife & Fishing in Our Area

Our waters support a classic boreal forest ecosystem — pine, spruce, rock, and clear northern water.

In the islands near Moonlite Bay, anglers regularly target:

Above the water, you’ll hear loons calling across the bay, spot bald eagles perched on shoreline pines, and occasionally see black bears swimming between islands.

It feels wild — but it’s comfortably accessible.

A Show With History

This will be the 61st Annual Fargo Sport Show, and it regularly draws around 20,000 outdoor enthusiasts. It’s a tradition for many families — dads bringing kids, friends meeting up every year, anglers comparing notes.

We love that energy.

Because every conversation at these shows starts the same way:

“Have you ever fished Lake of the Woods?”

And before long, you’re swapping stories.

Let’s Make 2026 the Year

If you’re even thinking about a fishing trip this year — don’t leave it to chance.

Stop by Booth 194.

Shake our hands.
Tell us what kind of trip you’re picturing.
Let’s look at dates together.

Sometimes it only takes one conversation to turn a “maybe someday” into a confirmed trip on the calendar.

We can’t wait to see you at the Fargo Sport Show.

Come find us at Booth 194 — and let’s start planning your Lake of the Woods adventure.
