Loon’s Nest

Loon’s Nest is designed specifically to accommodate up to 5 guests. Its sleeping configuration features a double bed in the first bedroom, while the second bedroom contains a single twin bed and a set of bunk beds.

Loon’s Nest has a full kitchen, a full bathroom and includes all our standard cabin features.

Inside Loon’s Nest at Saarela’s Moonlite Bay

I wanted to share a simple walkthrough of Loon’s Nest so you can see what the cabin feels like before you arrive.

This video gives you a good look at the setting first.

It starts looking outside on the deck, looking over the water, the barbecue area, outdoor seating, and the dock nearby. Then it moves inside so you can see the main living space, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping areas, and the walk back out to the lakefront deck.

It helps you picture the trip before you book it.

Starting with Overlooking The Deck

Right away, you can see why this cabin has such a strong lakefront feeling.

From the deck, the camera steps through the main living area.

The first thing you notice is the warm pine interior.

The walls and ceiling are finished in light knotty pine, and the high ceiling gives the room an open feeling. It feels like a classic northern cabin, but with plenty of room to move around.

The main area includes a large dining table, comfortable rustic furniture, a water cooler station, and a few fishing and wildlife touches that fit the lodge setting.

This is the kind of room where a group can gather after being outside for the day.

You can eat together, talk over plans for the next morning, or just relax while still feeling close to the lake.

Kitchen Space For A Cabin Stay

The kitchen is one of the stronger parts of this walkthrough.

The video shows a wrap-around kitchen layout with white cabinetry, counter space, a stainless sink under the window, a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and a full-size fridge.

That makes the cabin feel practical.

For a fishing trip, family trip, or longer stay, the kitchen matters because guests need space for groceries, coffee, meals, snacks, and cleanup.

The camera does not rush this section, which is helpful. You get a clear sense of how the kitchen fits into the open living and dining area.

Bathroom And Shower

The walkthrough then moves down the hallway into the bathroom.

The bathroom looks clean and simple, with a toilet, pedestal sink, mirror, and a walk-in shower stall with a curtain.

That is one of those details people want to see before they arrive.

A cabin can still feel rustic and comfortable at the same time, and this bathroom helps show that balance.

Sleeping Spaces Shown In The Walkthrough

The video shows several sleeping spaces off the hallway.

The first room has wood walls, a window, a twin bed, a built-in bunk bed setup, and a dresser.

The second room has a similar practical layout, with another bunk setup, a single bed, a fan, and dresser storage.

This is where the video is especially useful for trip planning.

When you are organizing a group, you want to know where people will sleep, where bags can go, and how the rooms are arranged. The walkthrough gives you a real look at the layout instead of making you guess from a few photos.

Back Out Toward The Water

At the end of the video, the camera walks back through the bright main room and returns to the sliding glass doors.

Then it steps outside onto the deck again.

That final movement helps tie the whole cabin together.

You can see how the indoor space connects to the outdoor deck, barbecue, lake view, and dock area.

That’s Loon’s Nest.

It is not just the inside of the cabin.

It is the way the cabin lives on the waters of Lake of The Woods.
